Gorgeous Northeast Ohio Wedding at St. John’s Cathedral and Windows

Katie and Dennis Rocked every aspect of their gorgeous summer Northeast Ohio Wedding in downtown Cleveland

This Northeast Ohio wedding started at the Hilton downtown where the guys and girls got ready on their own separate floors. It was such a fun group of bridesmaids and groomsmen and the laughter never stopped. After everyone was ready, we made our way to St. John’s Cathedral for the ceremony. The Cathedral is always a favorite for us, we just love shooting there – it’s beyond gorgeous!

The ceremony was perfect and St. John’s Cathedral provided an amazing backdrop. The history and architecture of this building can’t be beat. We love getting to highlight all of the details that make the Cathedral stand out in photos.

After the wedding ceremony, we explored downtown Cleveland on one of the most beautiful days of the summer – honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect! We hung out by Lake Erie and got some photos with the Cleveland script sign as well as the iconic Cleveland skyline.

Next, we headed to Ohio City to get some bridal party shots in front of the “Greetings From Cleveland” mural (which is also iconic). The bridal party had a good time laughing for these relaxed and fun photos. And finally, we went to the Shooter’s on the Water bridge before making our last stop at Windows on the River for one heck of a reception!

Katie and Dennis had the most perfect Champagne wall (thanks to ReInspired Bride) welcoming guests as they walked into Windows and a gorgeous cake by Wild Flour Bakery that was to die for. Above the dance floor hung greenery from Garden by the Gate and it made the perfect decor to cerebrate such a fantastic couple. Everyone enjoyed themselves the entire night and things couldn’t have gone any better. It was such a great wedding day all around!

OUR FAVORITE PART OF THIS NORTHEAST OHIO WEDDING DAY:

We’ve done so many weddings at Windows on the River and we’ve loved every single one. Dennis and Katie’s was no exception. Probably our favorite part was the champagne wall they had up at the reception. Guests were obsessed with it. Having the custom neon sign was the cherry on top. It made for a great photo opp for the couple and guests alike.
